HenEvia 's Thoughts:

When my mom was younger she spent some time living in California, that really changed her. I was raised in an environment that had strong US influence, we were the family that ate burgers, hard shell tacos, drank root bear, iced tea and ginger ale, never saw soap operas (we opted for US series), even some words in English became part of our regular vocabulary. I think that's why I learnt to appreciate American pop culture like I would appreciate any other culture.
